AIRTEL FREE GPRS USING YOUR-FREEDOM

STEPS FOR YOUR-FREEDOM

1. First go to http://www.your-freedom.net/ and register for a account this is must because it is used for connecting to the server.

2. Then download YF that is uploaded in attchment, you should have Java Runtime Environment installed to run this software.

3. Once done the above steps connect to Internet through Airtel use access point 'airtelgprs.com' without the quotes.
4. Run the software you will see configure window when running it first time.close it.

On the main window click configure. In the Configuration window click on the server connection tab.

Enter any of the server ip address form below. Choose connection mode as UDP fill the rest of the form as shown in the figure.

On the account information tab enter the account username and password you created in the first step

Now go on the ports tab check the SOCKS 4/5 and web proxy. These are the ports your proxy will be running

Now all done you can press Save And Exit. On the main window you will see your configuration. Now click on the Start Connection button.

If you connected successfully you will see the icon of a open door. And all the tabs will have some information.

If you are unsuccessful try a different server it will connect

This is the most important part

Configure your web browsers to use the proxy address: 127.0.0.1 or localhost and Port 8080

I am going to tell you set up proxy in Internet Explorer.

Click on start-->Run-->Type 'inetcpl.cpl' without the quotes.

On the dialog that opens click on Connection tab.

Click on the connection name you are using.

Click on the settings-->Check the use proxy checkbox -->enter the address 'localhost' and port '8080' without the quotes.

Save and exit. That's all. It will work for Google Chrome also. For other browsers please to some research

Now see the downside of this lovely scene.

You will be given only 64 k/b bandwidth.

The connection will connect for only 60 minutes off course you can connect immediately.

You will get connection for 6 hours in 24 hours however it be.

(But you can make another account from their site and use it when time limit of your first one is over)

You can have max 10 connection to the server so it is difficult to use P2P softwares.

But who cares if you get all this for free.

Then send the file to your phone and follow the above given steps. When transferring the file .prov to your phone, don't copy that file and paste in your phone. You need to right click the file and send to Bluetooth to the phone in which file need to use. File transfer should go through "object push" not by " file transfer" method. If still the file is not getting send correctly then first transfer it to another phone and then send it to your phone through Bluetooth.
Simply you can use any method to get this file to your phone via Bluetooth.

WHAT IS PROXY?

A server that sits between a
client application, such as a Web
browser, and a real server. It
intercepts all requests to the real
server to see if it can fulfill the
requests itself. If not, it forwards
the request to the real server. Proxy servers have two main
purposes:
Improve Performance: Proxy
servers can dramatically improve
performance for groups of
users. This is because it saves
the results of all requests for a
certain amount of time. Consider
the case where both
user X and
user Y access the World Wide
Web through a proxy server.
First user X requests a certain
Web page, which we'll call Page
1. Sometime later, user Y
requests the same page. Instead
of forwarding the request to the
Web server where Page 1
resides, which can be a time-
consuming operation, the proxy
server simply returns the Page 1
that it already fetched for user X.
Since the proxy server is often
on the same
network as the
user, this is a much faster
operation. Real proxy servers
support hundreds or thousands
of users. The major online
services such as
America Online,
MSN and Yahoo, for example,
employ an array of proxy
servers.
